Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented intern to join our compliance team. This role is perfect for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of fintech and cryptocurrency compliance. The successful candidate will provide administrative support, including performing administrative and notary services (once certified) once a week on-site in Miami, FL. Notary certification is preferred and training/fees will be provided for. For the remainder of the week, you will assist with various compliance-related tasks, contributing to our mission of maintaining regulatory excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support:
    • Perform notary services in-person one day per week at our Miami office.
    • Manage and organize compliance-related documentation.
    • Assist in maintaining accurate records and filing systems.
  • Compliance Assistance:
    • Support the compliance team in daily operations, including monitoring and reviewing transactions for compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
    • Assist in the preparation and submission of regulatory filings.
    • Conduct research on regulatory developments in the fintech and cryptocurrency space.
    • Help develop and update internal compliance policies and procedures.
    • Coordinate with other departments to ensure company-wide compliance adherence.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in fintech and cryptocurrency.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • On-site presence is required one day per week for administrative and notary services.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of cryptocurrency regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Notary Public certification in the state of Florida (or willingness to obtain certification).
