About The Role
Relay Payments is seeking an ambitious, solution-driven Strategic Account Executive to expand Relay’s enterprise customer base (targeting accounts with 30-100 million in annual volume) through proven prospecting strategies and initiating the first outreach with potential key accounts. The goal of this role is to help achieve a robust pipeline for strategic accounts. This position will be a great fit for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with multiple projects at once, surrounded by a hard-working team.
- Use prospecting strategies to lead initial outreach to prospects
- Identify the needs, challenges, and opportunities of the prospective customer
- Determine the prospect's interest in Relay
- Own the entire sales process from prospecting and lead management, to qualification and closing
- Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or relevant field
- Excellent phone, writing, and listening skills
- Self-starter who has a desire to learn, grow, and excel in their role
- Knowledge of business processes and organizational structures
- Familiarity with Salesforce, SaaS sales
- At least one year of professional experience
- Experience reaching or exceeding activity goals/quotas
- Understanding of trucking and logistics industries
