Would you like to join us in shaping the future of trade services? Komgo is actively searching for an Information Technology Senior Engineer & Architect to strengthen our Professional Services team. We are looking for a permanent fulfillment (100%).

The IT Engineer & Architect manages Architect is responsible to manage tailor-made projects for our clients.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Meeting with clients to analyze and define the scope and scale of ad hoc software projects
• Collaborating with the Head of Professional Services for establishing the roadmap
• Designing software architecture and applying design patterns
• Writing low-level and high-level code and building it using a CI/CD framework
• Writing technical documentation
• Troubleshooting and bug fixing
• Collaborating with product team to design and implement useful scalable APIs and integration capabilities of the products

Required Experience and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or computer science
• Minimum 10 years of experience as a full stack engineer (Java, Spring, Typescript, Security, AWS)
• Advanced knowledge of back-end technology & front-end development including React, RESTful services, Spring MongoDB, PostgreSQL,
• Project management skills
• High level of Autonomy
• Strategical and analytical thinking
• Team player, proactive, responsible, exemplary
• Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
• Ability to communicate with technical and business teams (at all levels)
• Fluent in English and at least an additional language
• Autonomous and responsible
• Previous experience within Trade Finance an asset
