The Cboe Clear US team is hiring for a Product Manager.
The Product Manager at Cboe Clear US will be working on creating the most cutting-edge clearing systems to power the next generation clearinghouse. In this role you will work closely and lead with other technologists and financial experts to design, develop, and improve on our critical clearing systems.
You will contribute to the team by helping define engineering best practices, architectural patterns, and standards. Collaboration with other team members to solve complex problems that meet the demands of the financial technology space will be part of your day-to-day responsibilities.
The systems you will work on will facilitate clearing listed derivatives, collateral management, and other post-trade services. Given the critical nature of these systems, they must be designed with high availability and high performance as a key requirement through the use of microservices, reliable message queues, and database clusters.
Key responsibilities will be:
Product Strategy & Planning
Help define and maintain the product vision and roadmap in alignment with business strategy, regulatory trends, and market evolution.
Prioritize platform features and enhancements based on strategic fit, impact, and implementation effort.
Product/Project Development Lifecycle
Translate complex business requirements into actionable deliverables for cross-functional teams including Software Engineering, Infrastructure, Risk, and Operations.
Assist engineering and QA teams to manage priorities and plan release content, ensuring clarity of requirements and timely, high-quality delivery.
Monitor release testing and operational performance, resolving issues that impact product delivery.
Participate in manual QA processes across all releases, ensuring thorough testing prior to production deployment.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Align stakeholders across departments to ensure efficient product delivery.
Communicate project plans and updates clearly and regularly.
Facilitate decision-making and resolve conflicts between teams.
Provide comprehensive support to internal stakeholders (e.g., clearing operations, development, infrastructure) and external clients.
Client & Vendor Engagement
Engage with clearing members and end-users to gather feedback and identify operational pain points.
Facilitate onboarding and education for new products and services.
Manage vendor relationships to ensure platform changes are communicated and integrated into delivery plans.
Industry Engagement & Subject Matter Leadership
Represent the organization in industry forums such as FIA and DMIST.
Leverage subject matter expertise to support internal teams and contribute to platform innovation and regulatory initiatives.
Stay ahead of market trends such as tokenized collateral and 24/7 clearing.
The ideal candidate has:
Proven experience in product management within financial services or clearing operations.
Strong analytical skills and familiarity with performance metrics.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and industry standards is a plus.
Minimum Years of Work Experience: 8+ years of experience in business analysis or product related experience.
Minimum Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree.
