Cboe Clear Europe is a pan-European Central Counterparty, the most connected CCP in Europe - offering clearing services to 46 trading venues. Cboe Clear Europe is approved to clear cash equities, depositary receipts, ETFs and equity SFT (index futures and options) contracts.

Cboe Clear Europe N.V. is headquartered in Amsterdam and was formed in the Netherlands in December 2013 following the combination of European Multilateral Clearing Facility N.V. (EMCF) and European Central Counterparty Limited (ECCP Limited), both of which were incorporated in 2007. On 1 July 2020, Cboe Worldwide Holdings Limited, an affiliate of the Cboe group, acquired 100% of Cboe Clear Europe.

Role Overview

The Product Manager for the SFT product at Cboe Clear is responsible for pro-active management of the company’s product features and functions, which are of value to clients:.

  • The responsibilities of this role include managing product profitability through monitoring the existing products, the introduction of new products, markets, trade feeds, and manage the expected significant enhancements to existing offerings.
  • This position involves regularly reviewing product and sales performance, customer satisfaction, validate and implement improvement actions, submitting and driving change requests, and where required initiate, develop and drive new business cases.
  • Furthermore, it ensures the accuracy and availability of Product Information and Management Information Systems (MIS).
  • An essential aspect of the role is to be responsible for the accuracy of service descriptions that supports the Sales team in persuading clients to subscribe to services and provide a comprehensive overview of profitability.

Product Strategy & Roadmap Development in support of Cboe’s SFT product offering

Define, scope, manage and execute the product roadmap and product strategy for cleared SFT that supports the CCP’s strategic goals.. Align that strategy with regulatory requirements, market trends and client needs.

Stakeholder Engagement & Market Analysis & Sales Support

Act as the primary liaison between internal teams (risk, legal, operations, technology and sales) and external stakeholders (clearing members, regulators, exchanges). Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for product innovation or enhancement.

Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management

Ensure all product developments comply with relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g., EMIR, CFTC, SEC). Collaborate with risk and compliance teams to assess the impact of new products or changes on the clearing house’s risk profile.

Product Lifecycle Management

Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of cleared SFT products—from ideation and design to launch, monitoring, and retirement. Continuously evaluate product performance and client feedback to drive improvements.

Technology & Operational Coordination

Work closely with technology and operations teams to define product requirements, support implementation, and ensure operational readiness. Translate complex financial concepts into clear technical specifications.

In this role you’ll be responsible for

  • Proactive Management of SFT Product Features & Functions: by monitoring existing products and introduce new products, markets, and trade feeds.
  • The overall business owner and coordinator between Sales, Business Analysis, IT and Delivery Addressing issues to meet product management goals and ensuring outcomes align with quality, reliability, documentation, schedule, and cost standards.
  • Monitoring performance includes recommending adjustments to schedules, fees, or resources, as well as conducting post-implementation reviews.

The ideal candidate has

  • A minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in the financial/security/post-trading industry, with at least 3-5 years of managing complex projects.
  • Demonstrated ability in product improvement by reviewing products and providing material describing new products/services for clients.
  • A thorough understanding of project management phases, techniques, and tools.
  • A bachelor or university degree and experience. Excellent communication and writing skills
