Sr. Director, Head of Listings, Cboe Canada

Job Description
The individual will be responsible for growing the public and private listings business for Cboe Canada by creating and executing upon an overall sales and business development strategy for product and services with a focus on Canadian corporate issuers. In addition, the candidate will manage a regional sales team and be responsible for their day-to-day activities, support, and interaction with other Cboe business units in Canada and globally. The individual will also be a member of Cboe Canada’s Executive Committee and accountable for the achieving the targets associated with listings in Canada and provide oversight of the listings business broadly.
Responsibilities:
Drive the evolution of the Canadian corporate listings business strategy, associated products and services and fees, as well as proving suggestions for enhancements to listings rules and processes to create a best-in-class client experience
Build, define, manage, and execute on sales processes, including sales pipeline reporting, resulting in the growth of Cboe Canada’s market share of public company listings
Subject matter expert on Canadian capital formation, staying on top of trends, regulatory changes and competitive forces that may impact the business
Build brand recognition, relationships, and partnerships with go-public partners including law firms, merchant banks, investment banks, auditors, market makers and other capital markets professionals, as well as company C-Suite executives, board members and advisors
Manage a regional sales team and accountable for achieving the overall annual revenue targets associated with corporate listings and private markets, as well as contribute to budgeting and forecasting process for Cboe Canada
Accountable to other business lines, both in Canada and globally to ensure we are maximizing the franchise value that originates from listings
Represent Cboe in meetings, conferences, industry events and pitches as a thought leader, brand ambassador, and senior company representative
Build and maintain collaborative relationships with cross-functional colleagues to ensure consistent and effective client coverage
Drive the creation and maintenance of account plans, development of collateral, messaging, and sales tactics and strategies as it pertains to corporate listings in Canada
Skills Required
15+ years work experience in capital markets or adjacent related roles, with significant sales team management experience
Experience in managing multi-product relationships with clients through coordination across a sales organization
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills
Ability to drive and operate independently and also as a part of a broader team
Management of a sales team; able to operate cooperatively and constructively with adjacent business units
Demonstrated analytical ability and experience interfacing with senior management teams and C-Suite executives
Experience in, and an established network of legal, capital markets, and related partners required
Experience with public, or going-public company listings
Travel Requirements:
5-10 days per month or more dependent on business requirements
