The Compliance team is hiring for a Compliance Analyst.

The Compliance Analyst at Cboe is responsible for providing advice to the business at Cboe Europe and day-to-day compliance monitoring. In this role you report to the Cboe NL Head of Compliance.

In this role you’ll be responsible for:

• Supporting the business with advice on compliance and regulatory matters for ongoing operations and for new business initiatives regarding equities, derivatives and indices.

• Planning and implementing the Compliance Monitoring Programme, taking into consideration regulatory requirements, any recent regulatory pronouncements, anticipated regulatory change, operational risk events, Internal Audit comments, recent business changes and strategic initiatives.

• Producing and reviewing internal compliance policies and controls.

• Supporting the production of reports for internal boards and committees.

The ideal candidate has:

• Good knowledge of the current EU/UK regulatory regime with an emphasis on MiFID/MiFIR and the Benchmarks Regulation. Basic understanding of AML, Privacy and Operational Resilience regulations.

• Experience of working in a compliance or regulatory department or in a related role in an exchange or investment firm.

• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Ability to work well in a team environment, both within the Compliance team and with other stakeholders in the company.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Familiarity with and desire to learn more about trading techniques and technology.
