The Data and Access Solutions Sales team is hiring for Director of Platform Sales (EMEA).
Cboe's Data & Access Solutions (DnA) business is seeking a highly motivated Sales Representative to drive revenue growth through the sale of DnA products including market data, risk & market analytics, execution platforms and index solutions to institutional clients, broker-dealers, hedge funds, retail brokers, market data vendors and other financial institutions. The Sales Representative will play a critical role in expanding Cboe's market presence and enhancing client relationships within the rapidly evolving financial markets landscape.
In this role you’ll be responsible for:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets and drive business growth in the UK and Europe.
- Identify and prioritize prospective clients through proactive pipeline building, prospecting, networking, and market research activities.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, serving as a trusted advisor and understanding their evolving business needs.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Product Management, Marketing, and Client Engagement teams, to build pipeline and deliver tailored solutions that meet client requirements and differentiate Cboe's offerings in the marketplace.
- Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and workshops to showcase Cboe's data products, trading platforms, and analytics solutions.
- Negotiate contract terms and pricing in collaboration with Legal and Product teams to ensure favorable outcomes for both Cboe and the client.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments to anticipate market opportunities and potential challenges.
- Provide regular updates on sales pipeline, forecasts, and key performance metrics to management using CRM tools and reporting systems.
- Represent Cboe at industry conferences, trade shows, and client events to enhance brand awareness and foster new business opportunities.
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct in all interactions with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
The ideal candidate has:
- Proven track record of success in B2B consultative solutions sales, preferably within the financial services industry, with a focus on market data, trading technology, risk management tools or related solutions.
- Strong understanding of financial markets (options, equities, indices, market data), trading workflows, and regulatory requirements.
- Familiarity with data distribution channels and technology.
- Established contact base and influence within target financial institutions is preferred.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively influence key decision-makers.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also collaborating effectively within a cross-functional team.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
- Language skills: Multi-lingual strongly preferred (French, German)
- Travel requirements: up to 25% of time
- Minimum Years of Work Experience: 8
- Minimum Education Requirement: Bachelor Degree
