Job Description

The Cboe Regulatory Division is seeking a Project Manager responsible for planning and ensuring timely completion of Regulatory Division projects as well as the Regulatory Division’s involvement with broader organizational initiatives. This individual will collaborate with individuals within the Regulatory Division and across the organization to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead multiple projects and teams to execute on project plans

  • Develop and document project scope, objectives, and milestones

  • Track and communicate project progress to senior management and stakeholders

  • Develop strong relationships with other departments and third parties

  • Manage short-term and long-term initiatives using Jira and Confluence tools

  • Build and maintain a thorough understanding of the Exchanges’ trading and regulatory environments, as well as the broader securities industry, in areas such as markets, products, relevant rules and regulations, technologies and systems, processes and operational methodologies

  • Assist management in areas including budget planning, internal audit responses, and overall compliance with relevant regulatory responsibilities

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field required

  • 5+ years of work experience, including experience leading projects or initiatives

Preferred:

  • Graduate degree or relevant certifications preferred

  • 2+ years of financial markets experience preferred

  • Experience with scrum processes preferred

  • Experience with Jira and Confluence preferred

Ability to:

  • Learn our systems, processes, and methodologies; lead independently or as part of a team, recognize and take appropriate action to address problems and opportunities.

  • Interact in a professional manner with internal and external contacts; use tact and diplomacy; maintain confidentiality; appropriately handle and communicate controversial or sensitive information.

  • Organize and prioritize tasks and work assignments; complete multiple tasks simultaneously with accuracy and quality; adjust to changes in priorities and situations; complete work under pressure; meet deadlines
