Job Summary:

We are a rapidly growing company. As our human resource needs are increasing, we are in search of a Head of HR who will plan, lead, direct, develop, and coordinate the policies, activities, and HR needs of our company, ensure legal compliance, and implement our company’s mission and talent strategy.


• Collaborate with senior leadership to understand the company’s goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention. • Design and implement a strategic recruiting plan that effectively communicates and supports our company's mission and strategic vision to potential new hires and attains the human capital needed for our company’s growth. • Oversee the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, morale, and training and development. • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law and apply this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management. • Design the company’s HR policies and procedures ensuring that our company is in compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and ensure employees' adherence to the company’s policies and procedures. • Develop and implement comprehensive compensation and benefits plans that are competitive and cost-effective. • Create training and employee development programs. • Assist in performance management processes. • Support the management team in appropriately addressing disciplinary and grievance issues. • Track key HR metrics like cost per hire and retention rates. • Ensure the company’s recordkeeping and data processing procedures comply with all necessary privacy requirements. • Implement fair employment practices. • Performs other duties as required.   Skills:

• Knowledge of HR functions such as pay and benefits, recruitment, training and development with an ability to negotiate favorable hiring outcomes. • Understanding of local and federal labor laws and disciplinary procedures. • Outstanding time-management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize accordingly, and meet deadlines. • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution abilities to effectively manage, interact, negotiate, and communicate. • Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude. • Strong ethics and reliability. • Attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills to identify, analyze, and resolve all HR-related issues. • Ability to adapt to the needs of the organization and employees.  Training and development skills to attract, retain, and maximize employee performance. Requirements: • Bachelor's required; MBA or MA/MS in human resources or related filed preferred • Minimum of 10 years relevant experience, preferably in a start-up environment, with at least five years of executive HR experience • SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification preferred
